Burlington County and New Jersey elected officials will convene virtually today to present the public a wide-ranging covid-19 update.
Freeholder Director Felicia Hopson and Deputy Director Tom Pullion, Assemblyman Dr. Herb Conaway (D-7th) and State Senator Troy Singleton (D-7th) will deliver the update at 1 p.m. Conaway also is county Health Department director and leader of the county’s Covid-19 Task Force.
The public can join the event via a web browser or the Webex app (password: hello), or join via phone by calling 408-418-9388 (event # 714 363 396).
Update topics will include the county Health Department’s recently released free app for covid-19 information, county and state responses to the coronavirus, food drive and farmers market information.
As of May 19, Burlington County has reported more than 3,962 covid-19 cases and 247 deaths due to the virus.
