Cash toll collectors will return to duty on the Delaware River Port Authority’s four bridges beginning Monday, May 11, at 6 a.m.
The DRPA suspended cash tolls on the Ben Franklin, Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross and Commodore Barry bridges on March 26 to avoid the spread of covid-19 between staff and motorists.
Toll collectors will be wearing face shields and masks, according to the DRPA, and the authority recommends motorists don face masks when handing over tolls.
